This role is perfect for a compassionate professional who enjoys leadership, clinical oversight, and teamwork in a mission-driven environment. Our multidisciplinary team offers both virtual therapy and in-person recovery services, supporting adults across Virginia through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. We also provide Case Management and Peer Recovery Support Services for individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.
The Clinical Supervisor will oversee counselors, peers, case managers, and assessment specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. You'll also help maintain compliance with Virginia Medicaid and DBHDS standards while promoting a positive and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing feedback, guidance, and support.
- Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with Medicaid and DBHDS regulations.
- Manage intake, referral, and authorization processes when needed.
- Step in to assist with client services during staffing shortages.
- Participate in on-call rotation and de-escalation support.
- Lead or assist with investigations, audits, and accreditation visits.
- Maintain organized digital records and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT fully licensed or license-eligible status (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment.
- Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid and DBHDS regulations.
- Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Modification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
- Excellent clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and EHR systems.
- Calm and professional under pressure; able to de-escalate challenging situations.
