Associate Attorney - Employment law

The Role We are seeking a motivated and sharp Associate Attorney who is eager to dive into all aspects of litigation. This isn't a "back-office" role-you will be an integral part of the litigation lifecycle. Whether you are drafting discovery, taking depositions, or preparing for trial, you will be working on cases that make a tangible difference in people's lives.

What You'll Do

• Manage and support cases involving wage and hour, PAGA, retaliation, and discrimination.
• Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and trial briefs.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Provide strategic support during mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Directly communicate with clients to provide empathetic and effective representation.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Education: JD from an accredited law school and active member of the California State Bar.
• Experience: Previous experience in employment law or litigation is a plus, but we prioritize intelligence, motivation, and a "growth mindset."
• Skills: Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills are non-negotiable.
• Passion: A genuine commitment to advocating for workers' rights and holding employers accountable.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience).
