Our prestigious Walnut Creek law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney with at least 1 - 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role primarily focuses on general civil litigation, representing individuals, families, and leading businesses. However, experience handling employer-side employment advice and counsel and litigation would be preferred, although not necessary. Candidates must be able to advise, counsel and litigate, and be familiar with the process of handling matters and cases from inception to close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in matters involving general civil litigation disputes, including business, real estate and tort related claims. Experience handling wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims would be advantageous, but not required.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to C-suite executives and businesses in regard to a variety of, legal matters and disputes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and represent clients in depositions and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to deliver top-tier advocacy and client service.
Qualifications:
- Strong document drafting, depositions and courtroom advocacy.
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work independently.
- Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar.
