A full-service immigration law firm in Miami is seeking a dedicated and experienced Removal Defense Attorney to represent clients in deportation and removal proceedings. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, a passion for advocacy, and a deep knowledge of immigration court processes.

- Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
- Prepare and file motions, briefs, asylum and cancellation applications, waivers, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research on complex immigration and constitutional law issues.
- Develop tailored legal strategies for individual cases.
- Appear at master, individual, and bond hearings.
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients and families throughout the process.
- Stay current on developments in immigration law and policy.
- Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case documentation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in good standing (any U.S. state).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in immigration or removal defense preferred.
- Strong courtroom and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and case priorities.
- Fluency in English; other language skills are a plus.
- Must be able to commute to or relocate to Miami, FL 33174 prior to start.
