What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Immigration Associate Attorney position at Direct Counsel?
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–3 years of law firm experience in business and family-based immigration to join a team that works on sophisticated matters involving both corporate and individual clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent foreign nationals and U.S. employers in employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, investment visas, and family-based visa petitions.

Handle consular processing, naturalization, and compliance matters before USCIS, DOL, ICE, and DOS.

Advise employers on immigration and labor regulation compliance.

Draft complex legal documents and maintain direct communication with clients and partners.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

2–3 years of relevant law firm experience in immigration law.

Strong drafting, communication, and client relationship skills.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach and collaborative mindset.

Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) strongly preferred.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school; must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $240,000–$260,000, commensurate with experience.
