Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their busy litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven lawyer to gain substantial courtroom experience across criminal defense, personal injury, and general civil litigation. You'll handle a dynamic caseload with immediate opportunities to take depositions, argue motions, and try cases.

- Manage cases from intake through resolution, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, negotiation, and trial preparation.
- Draft concise, well-organized pleadings, briefs, motions, and settlement documents.
- Appear regularly in state court; argue motions, conduct evidentiary hearings, and participate in mediations and arbitrations.
- Analyze liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective litigation and settlement strategies.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal staff to advance case progress.
- Contribute to business development efforts through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Active membership in the Connecticut Bar (in good standing) required; Federal District Court admission a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in criminal, personal injury, and/or civil matters.
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent time management, case organization, and client service abilities.
- Demonstrated negotiation proficiency and sound legal judgment.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
