About The Role
Seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction management operations. The role includes assisting project managers and superintendents in coordinating subcontractors, managing subcontracts and change orders, preparing permits, tracking submittals/RFIs, and supporting scheduling and project close-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify subcontractors for assigned scopes of work
- Prepare, receive, analyze, and negotiate bid packages
- Participate in design review and agency coordination meetings
- Manage subcontracts, change orders, and project documentation
- Track and approve submittals/RFIs
- Assist with project sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
- Support superintendent with safety, quality management, and subcontractor coordination
- Assist with close-out documents, punch lists, and inspections
- Attend project meetings and support daily project tasks
- BS in Construction Management or related field
- Experience with construction management software (PROCORE, SAGE, estimating and scheduling tools)
- Understanding of construction project management principles
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
