Now Hiring: Assistant Project Manager / Field Engineer
(Commercial Construction | Brandon, FL area)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager / Field Engineer to support both field operations and project management on active commercial construction projects.
This is a growth-track position, designed for someone looking to develop into a Project Manager within our organization.
The role will begin with a strong focus in the field, and will gradually transition into increased responsibility on the management side.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day field operations and coordination
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections
- Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Help ensure quality, safety, and project timelines are met
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of commercial construction experience (GC preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to be active in the field
