Scaffolder / Scaffold Builder - Industrial MaintenanceLocation: Cicero, IllinoisJob Summary:The Scaffolder / Scaffold Builder is responsible for assembling, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems to support maintenance, construction, and industrial operations at the facility. This role ensures safe access for workers performing repairs, inspections, and installations while complying with safety regulations and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures for industrial projects and plant maintenance.Inspect scaffolding components to ensure structural integrity and OSHA compliance.Work closely with maintenance and construction crews to provide safe elevated work platforms.Follow safety procedures, fall-protection standards, and site regulations at all times.Transport, stage, and organize scaffold materials and equipment.Assist with maintenance shutdowns, repairs, and turnaround projects when required.Qualifications:Experience as a scaffold builder/scaffolder in industrial environments.Knowledge of OSHA scaffold safety standards and fall protection practices.Ability to work at heights and in outdoor industrial environments.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.Preferred:Industrial plant experience (refinery, chemical, manufacturing, or power plants).OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training.Company DescriptionW3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
