Machinist CNC Setup Operator

An established and growing precision machining company in Waukesha, WI is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up / Machinist to join its team. The company operates in a modern, climate-controlled facility equipped with advanced CNC machinery and automated equipment designed to support efficiency, precision, and long-term career growth.

Position Highlights

• Full-time opportunity with stable hours

• No nights or weekends

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Weekly pay

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment efficiently and accurately

• Select tooling, adjust offsets, and make program edits as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality specifications

• Perform precision measurements and inspections using standard measuring tools

• Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and productivity

• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the production team

• Support continuous improvement and machining process optimization efforts

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup and machining experience

• Strong understanding of G & M codes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation

• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools

• Programming experience or willingness to expand programming knowledge

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
