Duties
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations across all production lines.
- Support production planning efforts by utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to schedule and monitor workflow, materials, and resources.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to analyze supply chain management data and optimize inventory levels
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
- Monitor production processes for adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations, addressing issues promptly.
- Contribute to plant management by assisting in resource allocation, equipment maintenance scheduling, and workforce management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging KPI analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Support assembly operations and mechanical troubleshooting as needed to maintain high productivity levels.
- Lead Supervisor, Senior Team Leader and Team Leaders to ensure effective process flows.
Qualifications
- 8 years proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of operations management principles.
- Familiarity with production planning and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques aimed at operational excellence.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in assembly processes and equipment maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams toward shared goals.
