We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today!Volt is immediately hiring for an Electronic Repair Technician (Entry-Level & Intermediate) in Elk Grove, CA.As an Electronic Repair Technician II (Entry-Level), you will: Inspect mobile devices for defectsUse hand tools to disassemble/reassemble and perform basic repair proceduresPosition or align small components manually or with hand toolsReceive and inspect materials into the warehouseConduct basic functional tests on mobile devicesAssist with diagnostic testingPack and sort inventory in the warehouseScan and label inventory using RF scannersMeet production and safety standardsThe ideal candidate will have:Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work with small parts and use hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers)Ability to pass a hands-on repair skills testAbility to pass all required pre-employment screeningsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and accurate typingExcellent communication skillsAdaptability to learn tasks in other departmentsAbility to sit or stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.As an Electronics Repair Technician III (Intermediate) you will:Inspect mobile devices for defectsDisassemble/reassemble devices and perform repair procedures using hand toolsPosition or align small components manually or with hand toolsReceive and inspect materials into the warehouseConduct functional and diagnostic tests on mobile devicesPack and sort inventory in the warehouseScan and label inventory using RF scannersMeet production and safety standardsDemonstrate strong technical and analytical skillsThe ideal candidate will have:Computer Technical Certificate or Degree relevant to electronics (required)Strong technical and troubleshooting skillsStrong hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work with small parts and use hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers)Ability to pass a hands-on repair skills testAbility to pass all required pre-employment screeningsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and accurate typingExcellent communication skillsAdaptability to learn tasks in other departmentsAbility to sit or stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.This is a full-time (1 year) opportunity.Schedule Options:Day Shift: Monday–Friday, start between 6:00 AM–10:00 AM, end between 2:30 PM–6:30 PM (Flexibility required)Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, start between 3:00 PM–3:30 PM, end between 11:30 PM–12:00 AM (Flexibility required)Pay Rate:Electronic Repair Technician II (Entry-Level): $17.25 - $18.98 Per Hour (based on shift)Electronic Repair Technician III (Intermediate): $18.25 - $20.08 Per Hour (based on shift)*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
