Volt is immediately hiring an Accounting Clerk in Greensboro, NC As an Accounting Clerk, you will be:Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy.Key responsibilities include:Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers..Frequently reports to an Accounting Supervisor.Performs light clerical duties within an accounting function.May type, match payments, check items on purchase orders, prepare bank deposits and perform other routine calculations with specific instructions.Performs basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable and of bank reconciliation functions.Answers customer inquiries.Research problems and/or complaints.Creates and edits spreadsheets.Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.Qualifications:7-10 years of experienceHave 10-key skills by touch or sight. familiar with computers (and basic principles of A/P or A/R).Typically requires a high school education or equivalentThis is a Contract full time opportunity.Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
