We bring you Tomorrow's opportunity, today.Volt is immediately hiring HR Generalist in San Jose, CA 95131Please find the JD below: Job Summary:The HR Generalist oversees helping and assisting with all day-to-day HR operations and duties as well as handling all the personnel-related administrative tasks.He/she must combine excellent organizational skills and experience in a fast-paced working environment and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.His/her main responsibilities and duties include recruitment and staffing, training and development, employees’ relations & satisfaction and labor laws and legal compliance.Ultimately, the HR Generalist will oversee maintaining the HR Department organized and efficient to be able to attract, hire and retain employees with talent.Job Responsibilities:Labor Laws and Legal ComplianceAssist in the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.Process HR related iFlow applications and ensure proper approvals.Provide support and control in time & attendance system.Explain HR-related policies, procedures, laws and standards to current employees and new onboard ones.Update and create Job Descriptions and analyze job dutiesAssist Open Enrollment ProcessBiweekly Payroll ProcessResponsible for administering payroll systemCommunicate with managers to resolve issues with payrollEnsure all timecards are approved by the deadlineReconcile payroll records with approved timecardsProcess wage garnishment and other deductionsAnalyze pay scale to ensure compliance with wage and labor lawsRecruitment and StaffingResponsible for the recruiting process and for the implementation of the strategy (interviewing applicants, pre-employment tests, referential check, etc.).Ensure the employee’s onboarding and termination process.Prepare or update employment records related to hirings, transfers, promotions, and terminations.Qualifications:PHR, SPHR or payroll specific certification, preferredUniversity degree in Human Resources or similar.3 years of experience as an HR GeneralistProficient with computers and Microsoft Office ApplicationsSuperior attention to detailProven track record of maintaining employee confidentialityExperience with ADP payroll systemsAble to work under pressure with strict deadlinesThis is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.Title: HR GeneralistLocation: San Jose, CA 95131Shift: 1st Shift; M-FSalary Range: $90k- 115k/ Annum.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should?APPLY NOW?for immediate consideration!
