At Volt, our greatest strength is our peopleVolt is immediately hiring Assembly Technician in Londonderry, NHAs an Assembly Technician you will:Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations in a clean room environment which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.Experience in a clean room environment.This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity1st Shift 4/10 5:00 am to 3:00 pm 2nd Shift 4/10 2:30 PM to 1:00 AMThe ideal candidate will have:Requires developing job knowledge/skills.Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Preferred Skills:More High Tech skills/Electronic Manufacturing experience.
