Associate Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the full accounting cycle.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: Active contributor to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing data-driven insights to support strategic planning.
• Advanced Analytics: Leverage advanced MS Excel capabilities to conduct deep-dive financial analysis, modeling, and data manipulation.
• Core Accounting: Manage month-end ledger integrity by preparing billing journals and executing precise account and bank reconciliations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to streamline financial processes and resolve inquiries.
• AP Management: Deliver end-to-end support for the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments.

This 6-month contract position in the Houston area, and the team is working in a hybrid model with 3 times per week in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1 years of Accounting Experience, preferably Accounts payable (internship welcome)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external clients.
