We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer / Java Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and modern software development practices. This position requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate effectively with development and business teams.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java 21.
• Develop backend applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Build and consume REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Support web applications using Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and support applications hosted in AWS.
• Work with ECS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Manage source code using GitLab.
• Develop and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Support infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, cloud, and pipeline issues.
• Use IntelliJ IDEA for application development.
• Follow best practices for testing, documentation, maintainability, and security.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools where appropriate.

• Strong professional Java development experience.
• Experience with Java 21 or recent Java versions.
• Strong Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of JSON and API integration.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git/GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a development team.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Java Developer who can work across backend development, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and lightweight frontend technologies.

Candidates should be comfortable joining an existing environment, quickly understanding applications and development workflows, delivering clean and maintainable code, and troubleshooting issues across the application and cloud stack.
