Founding Recruiter (In-House)
Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY)
Compensation: $375K–$625K TC | $135K-$200K base $25K-$50K cash bonus annually

We are now looking for a Founding Recruiter to own recruiting end to end and help build a world-class team.
- Own full-cycle recruiting across Content, GTM, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
- Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role scope and hiring bar
- Proactively source high-quality candidates through outbound, referrals, LinkedIn, and creative channels
- Run first-round screens focused on culture, drive, and early-stage fit
- Design and iterate on hiring processes including interviews, take-homes, and in-person trials
- Maintain a tight, organized hiring pipeline with clear ownership and follow-through
- Act as a steward of Virio’s culture throughout the hiring process
- Build recruiting playbooks, scorecards, and systems that scale
- Move fast while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality and experience
- Startup recruiting experience – Experience recruiting for startups or high-growth companies
- Ambiguous role hiring comfort – Comfortable hiring for senior, undefined, or first-of-their-kind roles
- Talent judgment beyond resumes – Strong instinct for evaluating candidates beyond titles and credentials

This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. We do not offer hybrid or remote positions.
