Essential Functions of This role:
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and engage in friendly interactions with guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus (If applicable)
- Assist guests with any questions or special requests.
- Set up the breakfast buffet area in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure food items are replenished promptly and attractively displayed.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure food safety standards are maintained.
- Keep the buffet area clean and organized.
- Clear and reset tables promptly.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well stocked with necessary items (e.g., silverware, napkins, condiments).
- Assist with any spills or accidents to ensure guest safety.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collect feedback from guests to improve service quality.
- Must adhere to the company's grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.
- Assist with varied projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage role is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
- May involve exposure to hot and cold temperatures, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
