- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and systems.
- Address maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Handle minor carpentry and painting tasks.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or compliance issues to the Facilities Manager.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Reorder supplies as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist in maintaining logs for HVAC systems, fire safety equipment, and other critical systems.
- Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to address facility-related issues.
- Assist with room inspections and preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns related to facilities and maintenance in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Respond to facility emergencies, such as power outages, water leaks, and equipment failures, in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in the hotel’s emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and maintenance techniques.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Must adhere to the company's grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.
- Assist with varied projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
