Role Description
As a Property Manager with Vintage Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 300 unit complex, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property performance. Day-to-day tasks also include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing rental applications, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations, addressing tenant concerns, and managing property budgets.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in residential property management or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse tenant base
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Experience with property management software and financial reporting
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to residential property management
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to tenants
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property inspections and maintenance assessments.
- Screen and select quality tenants.
- Administer leases, rent collection, and tenant communications.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Foster positive tenant relations and resolve disputes.
- Effectively monitor, analyze, and resolve resident delinquencies.
- Communicate effectively with Corporate Staff, Vendors, Residents and Property Investors
- Implement efficient property management processes.
Managing People and Coaching Employees:
- Lead and manage a team of property management professionals.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Set clear goals and expectations for employees and hold them accountable.
- Continuously seek opportunities for employee development and growth.
