Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated LPN/ RN to join our Villa Maria team! We are very flexible with schedules. LPN/RN is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vitals, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN/ RN license
- Proven experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
