What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Viking Group?
Coordinates activities to support tracking, purchasing, and controlling inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews daily backorder report.
- Conducts daily cycle counts reconciliation.
- Resolves inventory discrepancies.
- Assists with new item primary location set-up.
- Transfers entries between locations as needed
- Resolves vendor shipping errors.
- Conducts entry and updating of Inventory transactions.
- Acts as a back-up to the warehouse/customer service function as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma required, Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must have excellent math, communication, and computer skills, to include proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word, min.) and online tools.
- 2-4 yrs. experience with JDE preferred.
