AV Project Manager

Position Overview

Videlio-HMS is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of audiovisual, entertainment technology, communications, and control system integration projects from contract award through final commissioning and client turnover.

This position is based in Orlando and will primarily support land-based projects, including theme parks, attractions, immersive entertainment venues, museums, and government-related programs. The role may also support marine and naval vessel projects as business needs require.

The successful candidate will coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, programming, commissioning, and client stakeholder activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

· Manage projects from contract award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, closeout, and client turnover.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement plans, and resource allocations.

· Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation to identify scope requirements, risks, and potential gaps.

· Monitor project progress and proactively resolve schedule, technical, procurement, and coordination issues.

Client & Team Coordination

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.

· Coordinate activities between engineering, purchasing, fabrication, programming, installation, commissioning, and management teams.

· Collaborate with architects, consultants, general contractors, electrical contractors, specialty contractors, vendors, and project partners.

· Lead project meetings, client updates, coordination sessions, and progress reviews.

· Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, documentation, and reporting.

Technical & Operational Oversight

· Manage RFQs, submittals, change orders, proposals, procurement activities, and project documentation.

· Coordinate equipment procurement, logistics, and delivery schedules.

· Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, training, punch-list resolution, and project closeout.

· Ensure all testing records, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and client deliverables are completed and submitted.

· Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel during fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Financial & Risk Management

· Track project costs, labor utilization, forecasts, and change order opportunities.

· Identify and mitigate project risks related to scope, schedule, procurement, and technical execution.

· Provide accurate project financial reporting and updates to management.

· Ensure projects remain within approved budgetary and contractual requirements.

Travel & Site Support

· Travel to project sites as required for meetings, surveys, installation support, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.

· Provide on-site leadership during key phases of project execution.

· Support client operations and commissioning activities during non-traditional work hours when required.

Qualifications

Required

· Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in AV integration, systems integration, entertainment technology, technical construction, themed entertainment, or a related field.

· Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

· Valid driver's license & Passport, and ability to travel as required.

Preferred

· Experience with theme parks, attractions, museums, immersive entertainment, performing arts venues, resorts, government projects, or marine projects.

· Working knowledge of audiovisual systems, networking, signal flow, control systems, show control, and integrated technology environments.

· Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools.

· CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, PMP, or similar industry certifications.

· Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and client relationship management skills.

Work Environment & Conditions

· Primary work location is the Videlio-HMS Orlando office and various project sites.

· Work may be performed in offices, fabrication facilities, construction sites, theme parks, museums, entertainment venues, naval installations, and marine environments.

· Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday work may occasionally be required to support project schedules, testing, commissioning, or client operational requirements.

· Site work may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site-specific safety requirements.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
