Position Overview

A Project Support Coordinator is a professional responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of projects. They provide essential support to project managers and teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Their duties include progress tracking, risk management, and communication between stakeholders. Project Support Coordinators help streamline processes, resolve issues, and maintain documentation to facilitate successful project completion.

Core Responsibilities

· Provide project support including document management, bidding support, and construction management using MS Project and other software.

· Attend project meetings to assist project manager and to keep informed about projects and identify upcoming activities. Offer comments and suggestions related to the project. Assist with scheduling, travel requirements, boarding and meeting minute preparation.

· Knowledge of Dry-dock & Refit projects processes and documents.

· Assist with Level 3 schedule reports for project coordination

· As well as other duties as assigned

Additional Duties & Expectations

· Knowledge of MS Project and application of project management software.

· Understanding of principles and practicing Onboard Cruise Ships

· Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to interact with all levels of organization.

· High degree of initiative and technical document management, organizing, presenting information

· Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments and management

· Understand project planning and scheduling and the effect these have on project budgets.

· Ability to communicate with Project Managers and other staff with varying degrees of skill levels from a project management and controls perspective.

· Ability to utilize critical and creative thinking, as well as analyze, problem solver, and recommend solution

Experience and Education

· Associate’s Degree in engineering, finance, accounting, construction management, or a related field is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

· Minimum experience required is three (3) years of experience in project management, to include experience implementing and using project controls and demonstrated experience in tracking and reporting project budgets.

· Experience with Cruise Line Operations and familiar with Dry Docks

· Must have proficient computer skills, particularly Excel, MS Project, Word, and MS Project.

· Problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

· Must possess excellent analytical thinking

· Able to travel Worldwide on projects

Work Environment & Conditions

· Work authorization: United States with Valid Passport (Required)

· US Government background checks required for Port access credentials

· Worldwide Travel is required, work in shipyards and sailing on Cruise Ships. Many of the projects will be in dry-dock periods, this is where the ship is taken out of service for repairs and maintenance.

· Weekend work will be required and may be required over certain public holidays.

· All travel-related expenses such as taxis, flights, hotels and baggage fees will be covered by Videlio-HMS.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
