A/V Technician
Videlio-HMS is looking for ambitious technology minded personnel to become part of the Cruise Ship A/V Systems team. The Service and Installation Technician will install and maintain Audio, Video, Lighting, Network, Control, CCTV, and Access control equipment.
The A/V Technician will install and maintain Audio, Video, Network, Control, CCTV, and Access control equipment on Cruise ships. The Technician will learn and train under Junior and Senior technicians.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist Junior and Senior Technicians with installation and deployment of A/V systems.
- Learn to Solder and terminate connectors.
- Learn to Terminate CAT cable and Coax cable.
- Learn to safely Mount TVs, Speakers, and other field devices.
- Learn Basic cable management behind racks, closets and booths.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
- English speaking
- Low voltage electrical wiring experience (Preferred)
- Mounting speakers and displays.
- Use of power tools
Additional Job Requirements
- Work authorization: United States with Valid Passport (Required)
- US Government background checks required for Port access credentials
- World Wide Travel is required, work in ship yards and sailing on Cruise Ships. Many of the projects will be in dry-dock periods, this is where the ship is taken out of service for repairs and maintenance.
- Weekend work will be required and also may be required over certain public holidays.
- All travel related expenses such as taxis, flights, hotels and baggage fees will be covered by Videlio-HMS.
Compensation:
- Employee will qualify for per diem pay during travel.
- Employee will qualify for “comp days” pay during travel.
- Health insurance provided.
