Staff Accountant

Summary

The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in the general accounting functions and will be responsible for monitoring daily cash positions and performing monthly general ledger account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cash management – monitoring the cash position in multiple banks, sending approved wires/ach as well as setting up wire templates, addressing positive pay, and ensuring activity is being recorded on the ledgers.
• Analyze and reconcile inter-company activity.
• Prepare month-end standard and miscellaneous journal entries, supported with proper documentation.
• Responsible for assigned general ledger account balances through proper account analysis including the reconciliation of sub-ledger information.
• Assist with special projects and requests.
• Oversee vendor maintenance.
• Oversee the expense report process.
• Oversee the P-card program.
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 5 years of accounting/audit experience
• Collaborative, innovative, flexible, and adept at building relationships across the organization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions including pivot tables, V-Lookup
