The Impact You Will Make
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing and developing a wide variety of accounting functions. Working collaboratively and cross functionally, this role will perform general ledger accounting, month-end procedures, and will help evaluate and establish efficient accounting procedures for a fast and growing company.This position offers a base salary range between $60-$65K, pending experience, with potential for bonus eligibility.

The Impact You Will Make
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing and developing a wide variety of accounting functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- Analyze expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Assist with month, quarter, and year-end close
- Maintain design of spreadsheets to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency in accounting procedures and operations
- Provide supporting documentation and assistance to auditors as needed
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Create and provide various reports as needed
- Carry out ad hoc projects as assigned
- Three years of accounting experience with multi-entity, multi-state companies
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel skills
- Proficiency with business management or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, databases and tools; experience with Concur a plus
- Ability to build professional relationships and establish rapport cross-functionally with internal and external clients
- Ability to meet deadlines, thrive in a fast environment, and operate in the gray
