As the sole clinical provider, you'll assess, diagnose, and treat acute conditions, perform procedures like laceration repair and wound care, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients.
The environment supports independent practice with established protocols, clinical support, and access to leadership. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts weekly, rotating weekends, with no on-call duties, and flexible scheduling with overtime pay.
Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour ($103K–$131K/year), plus benefits like insurance, 401(k), CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and student loan assistance. Requirements include NC licensure, BLS/ACLS, and preferably 1 years of urgent care experience.
