Sanitation Associate

Role Overview: Responsible for unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing items within a warehouse environment. Provides support in tasks such as sanitation, inventory control, product selection, and equipment operation. May handle fueling, washing, and cleaning semi-trucks/trailers, and assist in verifying product accuracy and quality.

Key Duties

• Unload trucks, breakdown pallets, and organize products into warehouse racks or pick slots.
• Handle cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of various grocery and food products, ensuring proper placement.
• Assist with sanitation tasks, including cleaning warehouse areas and equipment.
• Operate industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and high-lift tools.
• Check products for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Participate in order selection, palletizing, and labeling for customer orders.
• Lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Report damaged products, low stock, and equipment issues; assist in product rotation and movement.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience, especially operating industrial equipment, is preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Strong communication skills in English, including reading and interpreting instructions.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Comfort working in multi-temperature environments and adhering to safety policies.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Effective organization, prioritization, and ability to work under pressure.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently sit, walk, stand, lift up to 75 lbs., and perform repetitive motions in a warehouse setting, often exposed to variable temperatures and noise levels.
