Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care within a float pool, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop, coordinate, and evaluate personalized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning. Performs treatments, administers medications, and conducts diagnostic studies in accordance with policies. Initiates proactive problem-solving, troubleshooting equipment, and participating in evidence-based practice decisions. Contributes to quality and safety initiatives, working towards departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program; ideally, with two or more years of recent inpatient float or travel nursing experience. Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with capacity to float between multiple hospital locations. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.
