Position Overview
The Transaction Processor Associate II supports transaction processing projects under the guidance of a Transaction Processing Supervisor. This role involves researching, analyzing, and updating consumer information across multiple systems, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer service. The position will provide open enrollment transaction support and requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a path to permanent employment for candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and alignment with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Process transactions accurately within procedural guidelines and without errors.
Meet or exceed daily productivity standards for each assigned task.
Maintain compliance with quality standards as defined in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
Deliver excellent internal and external customer service by consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of procedures, systems, and tools required for transaction processing.
Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet contract and service level requirements.
Report to work on time, prepared to perform daily responsibilities.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to achieving results.
Adhere to all attendance and performance policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
College degree preferred; prior eligibility determination or transaction processing experience strongly preferred.
Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and adapt to change.
Proficiency (or ability to be trained) in standard PC systems and software.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to detect, document, and correct errors.
Ability to work independently after training and meet established deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining accuracy while working at a sustained pace.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Regularly required to sit, use hands, and reach with arms; occasional standing, walking, kneeling, or crouching.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work is generally performed in an office setting.
