Outside Sales Representative / Field Sales Engineer / Regional Account Manager
Leading provider of industrial component services, specializing in coating & grinding, rotating and reciprocating equipment repair, and precision machining solutions.
The Outside Sales Representative / Field Sales Engineer / Regional Account Manager will have strong outside sales experience in industrial equipment, specifically coatings, grinding, rotating equipment repair, and precision machining. The role focuses on generating new business, managing full sales cycles, and building long-term relationships with third-party shops, service providers, and key industrial accounts.
Location: Massachusetts primarily local with select accounts outside the region

Role Responsibilities – Outside Sales Representative / Field Sales Engineer / Regional Account Manager
- Develop new business and drive revenue growth for industrial component services.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party service shops and key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for high-value component repair, thermal spray coating, O.D. and vertical grinding, refurbishment, and precision machining.
- Evaluate customer specifications and machinery requirements to define scope and propose solutions.
- Lead quoting, negotiation, and closing of orders across industrial clients.
- Track opportunities, quotes, and orders in CRM to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a strong presence in the field through customer visits and industry engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross-selling and growth opportunities.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to support strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements – Outside Sales Representative / Field Sales Engineer / Regional Account Manager
- Minimum 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment, coatings, grinding, or precision machining.
- Strong technical knowledge of coatings, grinding, rotating equipment, and precision machining.
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing high-value deals.
- Ability to travel 15–20% outside primary territory.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience selling to third-party service providers or end-users preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; authorized to work in the U.S.
