POSITION SUMMARY
The Strategy Intern will support Vertiv’s ER&D Strategy team in shaping growth initiatives, market analyses, and business transformation projects across the enterprise. This internship provides hands-on experience in strategic planning, corporate development, and global market research within a dynamic technology environment. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to develop insights that inform long-term business priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of strategic plans, growth roadmaps, and portfolio analyses through data collection, research, and synthesis.
- Conduct market, competitor, and technology landscape assessments to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating M&A, partnership, and investment opportunities through market diligence, benchmarking, and financial modeling.
- Participate in workshops, strategy sessions, and presentations for executive and business unit stakeholders.
- Help define key performance indicators, track progress, and summarize insights for leadership reviews.
- Contribute to special projects supporting technology exploration, inorganic growth, and competitive research.
- Prepare executive-level presentation materials using PowerPoint to communicate strategic findings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a MBA, Master’s, in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; exposure to GenAI toolsets and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Past experience in consulting and/or industrial companies.
- Interest in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting.
