Position: Infrastructure Solutions Engineer III
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite from Day 1)
Contract Duration: 6 months with high possibility of extension
Experience: 10 years
Pay rate: $ 65/hr (Negotiable)
Essential Job Functions:
- Design infrastructure solutions using containerization, such as the OpenShift Containerization Platform and AWS EKS, VMware virtualization, AWS cloud, Linux, Windows Server, and infrastructure as code automation.
- Work with other teams to identify impacts on infrastructure and ensure that infrastructure solutions meet business and technology requirements.
- Participate in initiatives that modernize infrastructure systems and support the continuous improvement of infrastructure and engineering practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
- Research and evaluate new infrastructure technologies and tools to identify opportunities to improve infrastructure systems and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in infrastructure architecture and engineering.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to peers.
Position Requirements:
- BS Degree and or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline.
- 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience with containerization platforms such as OpenShift Containerization Platform, AWS EKS or GCP
- Extensive experience with VMware virtualization, Linux and Windows Server.
- Extensive experience using automation & orchestration tools, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with designing and implementing highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with Streaming and Messaging platforms, Service Mesh and Caching platforms.
- Strong understanding of databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MS SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and engineering best practices.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and databases.
- Ability to work through ambiguous and open-ended business requirements and priorities and translate the same into a clear roadmap and definition of success.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
