Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Engineer / Scientist with expertise in electrical testing, optical analysis, and lab operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with hands-on laboratory experience to support testing, analysis, and compliance activities across multiple research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, and configure laboratory instruments and test systems to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Perform advanced testing and analysis involving electrical circuits, signal integrity, I-V/RF tests, and optical microscopy techniques.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management for lab materials, consumables, and technical equipment.
- Deliver technical support and training to engineers, lab technicians, and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain strict adherence to ISO accreditation standards, including documentation and audit readiness.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to internal stakeholders and management.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within a multidisciplinary, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 4 years of professional experience involving laboratory systems, test equipment, and hands-on experimentation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electrical testing (signal integrity, circuit design, I-V/RF), optical methods (thermal and light microscopy), and design tools such as SolidWorks, 3D printing, and CT scanning.
- Deep understanding of lab calibration, configuration, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience managing lab supplies procurement and inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and audit protocols.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills for creating precise documentation and clear presentations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and research teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Python programming and basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Experience with materials characterization techniques such as DSC, TGA, XRF, and FTIR.
- Demonstrated background in laboratory management and operational leadership.
