The Interim Construction Training & Workforce Development Manager will lead training, onboarding, workforce development, and employee skill-building initiatives across a growing organization. This role will partner with field leaders and employees to identify development opportunities, enhance training programs, and create consistent learning experiences that support safety, quality, productivity, and career growth. The ideal consultant brings deep construction industry experience along with a passion for coaching, facilitation, and workforce development.
Worksite Location: Primarily Onsite – Sauk Rapids, MN (with travel to company locations and events as needed)
Salary Range: Hourly rate between $70-85, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for field employees and construction leaders
- Create onboarding, skills development, and career progression programs
- Facilitate classroom, small-group, and hands-on field training sessions
- Coach and mentor employees to improve skills, safety, productivity, and job performance
- Partner with operational leaders to identify training needs and skills gaps
- Develop training materials, presentations, guides, and learning resources
- Support new hire integration and ongoing employee development efforts
- Build relationships with schools, trade programs, apprenticeship organizations, and workforce development partners
- Represent the organization at career fairs, workforce events, and community outreach activities
- Help establish consistent training practices and workforce development initiatives across multiple locations
- Extensive construction industry experience
- Experience training, mentoring, coaching, or developing employees
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to translate field experience into practical, engaging training programs
- Experience creating training content, learning materials, and development programs
- Knowledge of construction safety practices, jobsite operations, and field processes
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to project sites, company locations, schools, and industry events
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for employee development, workforce readiness, and building future talent pipelines
