Fractional Marketing Communications Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing and communication initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, drive business growth, and engage key audiences. This individual will collaborate closely with organizational leadership and cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing campaigns, manage digital and multimedia communications, support business development efforts, and deliver high-quality marketing materials that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Worksite Location: Ramsey, MN – Onsite

Hourly Rate: $30-32 DOE

Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to understand organizational goals, products, services, and communication needs.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies across digital, social, print, email, direct mail, and other multimedia channels.
• Create compelling marketing content and visual assets that communicate key messages and strengthen brand presence.
• Present marketing concepts, campaign recommendations, and performance insights to leadership teams.
• Coordinate the development and delivery of multimedia marketing initiatives and promotional materials.
• Draft and edit content for executive communications, marketing campaigns, and organizational messaging.
• Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and customer needs to inform strategic marketing decisions.
• Support new product, service, or program launches through marketing strategy and execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in promotional events, conferences, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and service providers, including contract negotiation as needed.
• Develop creative concepts and design materials while incorporating stakeholder feedback throughout the review process.
• Perform graphic design and creative production work to support marketing initiatives.
• Oversee website management, including content updates, enhancements, user experience improvements, traffic monitoring, and overall site functionality.
  
  

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in related field; printing/packaging industry experience a plus.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, other Management Information Software, and highly proficient with managing social media platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various sizes and scopes.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Dependable ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
• Self-motivated yet able to take direction well
