Junior Account Executive

Overview:

Veronica Beard is seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our growing team. This person will manage the day-to-day operations and relationships for all Off-Price and Nordstrom Jean businesses. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented and loves being a part of a team. This person will be responsible for all aspects of sales for their business, including relationship building, showroom appointments, market prep, re-orders, and analyzing selling. This role will report to the Sales Manager for Department Stores.

Responsibilities:

• Work strategically to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales targets
• Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with buying teams
• Support Sales Director with day-to-day management of key accounts
• Oversee showroom appointments for their accounts
• Analyze weekly selling reports and maximize opportunities thru reorders, swaps, and recuts
• Manage open to buy for assigned accounts
• Strategize initiatives to increase sales through creative opportunities
• Create detailed market prep to highlight account needs, plans, and budgets
• Conduct store visits
• Partner cross-functionally with teams within Veronica Beard to support wholesale initiatives and drive success (Marketing, Creative, Planning, Merchandising, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of relevant wholesale experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Team oriented but also self-driven with entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Ability to Multi-task
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills

The base salary range for this role is between $66,500 and $68,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
