Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit boards, and programmable logic controllers.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Maintain mechanical systems, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Provide residential painting services as required.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or team members.
- Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing leadership and guidance.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or facilities settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- A background in customer service is beneficial to enhance client interactions.
