Key Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and triage of patients in the Emergency Room
- Deliver high-quality patient care in urgent and critical situations
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Active RN License in the state of New Mexico
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience
- 1 year of overall nursing experience
- Strong emergency and critical care skills
- Excellent triage and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- Active RN License (New Mexico)
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC (within 6 months of hire)
