Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead engineering teams for overhead transmission line projects (69kV ).
- Provide technical oversight for transmission line routing and design activities.
- Manage engineering scope, project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Serve as the technical lead for PLS-CADD modeling and analysis.
- Perform and review transmission design calculations including:
- Structural loading
- Line routing
- Framing and hardware selection
- Foundation design
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines including:
- Structural engineering
- Civil engineering
- Permitting teams
- Procurement teams
- Construction support teams
- Interface with utility clients and project stakeholders.
- Support proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Provide technical guidance on transmission design best practices and tools, including PLS-CADD.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Or related discipline
- 8-12 years of overhead transmission line design experience
- Experience working on transmission systems 69kV or higher
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing technical deliverables
- PLS-CADD expertise (Required)

- Experience with:
