- Manage a high-volume caseload, including review, analysis, and strategic direction on legal matters.
- Provide legal recommendations addressing regulatory and litigation risks.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve efficient and compliant case resolutions.
- Travel to various courts within Georgia for hearings, mediation, and representation when necessary.
- Collaborate with and report case activity/results to the Managing Attorney.
- Participate in special assignments as needed.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Georgia (required).
- 0-3 years of experience in:
- Bankruptcy
- Collections
- Civil litigation
- Court proceedings related to creditors' rights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply case law.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- License to practice law in additional states within firm footprint: GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH
- Passing score on UBE
- Experience in creditors' rights, collections, or bankruptcy litigation
- Ability to work in a fully remote environment
