Bankruptcy / Creditor Rights Attorney
A national law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its bankruptcy practice in the Georgia office. This Associate Attorney will represent creditors in bankruptcy matters, foreclosure actions, and related litigation. This role offers mentorship from experienced attorneys, a collaborative work environment, and exposure to a growing client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff on bankruptcy procedures, filings, and local requirements
- Review filings and draft pleadings, motions, objections, orders, and client communications
- Attend hearings, settlement conferences, and other court appearances
- Represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation matters
- Ensure compliance with applicable law and firm policies
- Maintain client communication and escalate matters as needed
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in creditor’s rights litigation and bankruptcy required
- Foreclosure experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with ability to work in a high-volume environment
This position offers a fully remote work environment outside of court appearances.
