Location: Missoula, Montana (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Multiple Shifts Available)

The Surgical Technician - General Surgery is responsible for supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting surgeons and clinical teams during operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Set up operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Support circulating nurses and surgical team members
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical specimens
• Maintain and troubleshoot OR equipment and instruments
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to surgical procedures
  
  

Available Shifts

• Full-Time (36 hours/week) - Evening Shift
• Full-Time (40 hours/week) - Day Shift
• Part-Time (32 hours/week) - Variable Shift
• Part-Time (30 hours/week) - Evening Shift
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician Program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST - NBSTSA) - Required upon hire
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required upon hire
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
