Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CONTROLLER for a well-established Construction related client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS of the Controller role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience with Job Costing / Percentage of Completion Accounting
- Revenue Recognition experience
- 5 years of Managerial / Leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Controller
- Lead the financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial execution of special projects
- Identify, develop, and implement best-in-class financial processes that drive efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Manage budgets, control costs, and improve financial performance through effective forecasting, job costing, and resource allocation
- Cultivate a high-performing team by focusing on talent acquisition, coaching, and professional development
- Establish and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage analytics to continuously improve financial and organizational performance
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
