Qualifications
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with hospitalist experience
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- 49-bed acute care facility
- Annual hospitalist encounters: 3,000, averaging 8 visits per day
- Admissions per day: 2.5
- Average daily census: 4 patients per day
- 24-hour shift structure with morning/day rounding and on-call availability until the following morning
- Open ICU
- Procedures not required
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Patient satisfaction score reporting and accountability
