Qualifications
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with hospitalist experience
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- 44-bed acute care facility
- Annual hospitalist encounters: 2,500, averaging 4 visits per day
- Admissions per day: 2.5
- 24-hour shift model with rounding during the morning/day
- Admission percentage from ED: 3%
- Open ICU with no intensivist
- Teleneurology available 24/7
- Procedures not required
- Specialties not represented on staff include Infectious Disease, Oncology, Hematology, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonary
- EMR: Meditech
- Patient satisfaction method: Press Ganey
