Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Manager-level NCR Aloha Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead POS transformation initiatives for Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) clients. This role will serve as the functional authority for NCR Aloha Quick Service environments, driving discovery, menu optimization, configuration governance, and rollout readiness across multi-store deployments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in NCR Aloha configuration, strong consulting experience, and the ability to work directly with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient POS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery workshops to assess current-state NCR Aloha Quick Service configurations.
- Analyze and optimize:
- Menus
- Panels
- Modifiers
- Job-code-based layouts
- Design and implement POS screen/menu layout enhancements, including:
- Button layout redesigns
- Modifier flow improvements
- Combo configuration updates
- Provide SME guidance on:
- Aloha Takeout
- RAL (Remote Administration Layer)
- Dynamic modifiers
- Context panels
- Conduct Aloha database reviews to:
- Identify duplication
- Drive standardization
- Improve configuration efficiency
- Ensure consistent POS experience across:
- Front counter
- Drive-thru
- Tablet/handheld devices
- Support multi-store rollout planning and execution
- Act as the primary client-facing POS SME, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with NCR Aloha Quick Service (v12.x) configuration and architecture
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Menu layout design
- Dynamic modifiers
- Context panels
- Aloha Takeout
- RAL
- Job-code-based configurations
- Experience working with BOH-hosted Aloha environments and hybrid tablet/handheld POS systems
- Proven experience in multi-store QSR POS deployments
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead workshops, drive decisions, and manage client expectations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) domain
