Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team in Beckley, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile, and organized operating room environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready for procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection prevention protocols.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and preoperative preparation as directed.
• Count surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies according to established protocols.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist course or training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a surgical team.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room safety procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Beckley, WV.
